Outward Bound programs aim to enhance personal development and life skills. Below are some personal accounts of the impact Outward Bound has had on some of our participants.
Bush Adventure for School of Total Education
Eleven students abandoned everyday luxuries and technology and experienced the wilderness of Kyogle State Forest. The students faced a range of challenges designed to arm them with the attitudes, life skills and inner strength to achieve their potential.
Taking only what they could carry in their backpacks, the students trekked through the bush, abseiled, rock-climbed, and camped under the minimal protection of a bivvy.
