3. You are after something more than an amazing experience, but are not necessarily set on a career as an instructor. You may be see it has a handy skill to have while you pursue your burning interest or university degree. Perhaps you would like to do more outdoor and adventure activities in your leisure time and see the internship as a way to build your technical skills.
I always loved the outdoors and wanted to find out who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. At Outward Bound I was surrounded by people who were following their own path. This convinced me to do the same and now I am attempting to be a professional snowboarder. The internship has changed me, given me the courage to follow my dream and provided me with a skill I can use to help me get there.
